You know how the Trumps are way serious about making America great again and one way of doing that is by patronizing American-made products. To prove how honest and sincere the Trumps are about that, Jimmy Kimmel, the TV host, bought a bunch of merchandise from the Trump Store, which is run by two of the president’s sons, to see where it all came from.
“I’m sure Eric and Donald Jr. take this American thing very seriously,” Kimmel said. “These guys are red, white and blue to the core. They’re like a couple of flags wearing hair gel, these two.”
Well, it turns out not so much. Most of the merchandise Kimmel purchased was made abroad, and two items didn’t list a country of origin at all. Kimmel said such an omission could lead to potential fines of up to $500,000 if it turns out these products were made overseas.
That's really embarrassing, not to mention hypocritical of the Trumps. Even before the election, I read somewhere that Trump's ties are made in China.
"Trump’s whole platform is about American companies, his company isn’t even supporting America! I’ll just file an official complaint and let them sort it out,” he said to cheers.
Could this be true?:

Here's a tip for moviegoers. If you are visiting the UP Town Center Mall in QC, and you want to watch a movie there, their Theater 1 has all push-button La-Z-Boy Recliner style seats. Their armrests have Dixie cup/glass holders and attached mini-tables. Its sound system is excellent as well.
There are these group of sandbars, rocks & islands that several countries are fighting over in West Philippine Sea (the Chinese call it "China Sea"). A tribunal at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), in which our country filed a case against China over those islands, ruled in our favor. But ours is a hollow victory. For one thing, who is going to enforce this ruling. The PCA? No such animal.

No European state has backed the ruling as binding. Some of our Asean neighbors are siding with China even. If China is a signatory to the UNCLOS, the ruling still cannot be enforced because of the veto power of China. We are helpless against China. No strong nation can be forced to submit itself to a weak one, and that is the reality of international politics. MIGHT trumps RIGHT. Have you heard any unfavorable resolutions by the UN enforced against Israel? Wala diba? That's because any resolutions filed that are unfavorable to Israel the U.S. always veto them. The U.S. is a traditional ally & protector of Israel. These two countries are joined at the hips.
Yung mga matatapang na LP at millennials diyan at mga NPA, sumugod kayo sa mga islang pinagtatalunan natin with China. Ipakita ninyo ang tapang ninyo. Meanwhile, I'll go watch a movie and shop at my favorite mall. Perhaps have dinner at my favorite fast food joint. Let me know how it went with your brave adventure.
But kidding aside, those islands, as far as I'm concerned, may be worth giving up in the interest of world peace. I will probably never set foot on any of those contested islands anyway. So really I won't mind losing them. We are better off using diplomacy and negotiations with our behemoth neighbors. If you don't agree with me, you are welcome to get on a jetski and speed up to the nearest Chinese-occupied island. I'll read about your heroism the next day in the headlines. I'll even send your family a medal.
Shopwise in Cubao may be closing next year. That's according to a Rustan employee I talked to when I shopped at their supermarket. I was also surprised to learn from that person that Shopwise is a sister company of Rustan. He also told me that they will build a condominium in the same location where Shopwise is now. YEZ! We need more condominiums in Cubao where the air is fresh & clean.
