Buh-bye Sereno

As you all know, the Solicitor General Jose Calida filed a quo warranto case against the current Chief Justice Lourdes Sereno.

If you are still on the side of CJ Sereno, you have to read TP's eye-opening & revealing article about the goings-on inside the Supreme Court. It is a long read. It plain shocked me. Reading it was like watching a few episodes of the TV series "Dynasty" (stress on the "-NASTY") or "Game of Thrones". This excerpt of TP's article explains the justification of the quo warranto to remove an impeachable official:

The above screenshot is just a portion of the long article of TP. You have to read the whole article here (don't be lazy) to digest its contents more thoroughly: http://www.thinkingpinoy.net/2018/03/supreme-court-politics-sereno-will-lose.html

Sereno's colleagues handed down their decision on the case but they sided with Calida. Because she lost the case, she can't be regarded now as an ex-Chief Justice because the other justices of the Supreme Court in their decision said she wasn't qualified to be the Chief Justice in the first place. So we should just address her as Professor or Atty. Lourdes Sereno.

Many Supreme Court employees had openly expressed their dislike of Sereno for some reason. They know Sereno better than anyone:

Sereno is one of the 3 former Chief Justices who had no prior judicial experience before their appointment as chief magistrates. Former Chief Justice Artemio Panganiban (CJ 2005-2007) and former Chief Justice Hilario Davide were the other two. Davide was appointed by Cory Aquino. I'm so curious to ask how they could be appointed Chief Justices without having some basic experience as bench or trial judges. How could that be? If these people went through a confirmation process in the Commission on Appointments on their way to becoming members of the Supreme Court, no one in that panel thought to ask these court candidates whether they have any prior experience as judges? WOW! We really need to choose more carefully who should man that CA's confirmation panel or choose a more qualified, more knowledgeable or less nutty or loopy president.

It should be mandatory that all candidates vying for the position of Supreme Court judge or Chief Justice be former or current judges of lower courts. Otherwise, we will get another Sereno in the future.

Some did suggest the quo warranto option is not in the Constitution. Here's a free advice to one senator (itago na lang natin siya sa pangalang "BUM"): do some research first before opening your mouth in public, sir.

Sir, you are a Genius Extraordinaire! Sumobra sa galing.

Interesting! In a 153-page decision, Associate Justice Noel Tijam wrote that Sereno's failure to submit a complete record of her SALNs constituted "a lack of integrity." The Supreme Court said integrity is easy to define. "Simply, it is a qualification of being honest, truthful, and having steadfast adherence to moral & ethical principles. Integrity connotes being consistent - doing the right thing in accordance with the law and ethical standards every time," the high court added. Supalpal na naman si Hilbay.

Did you take pity on Sereno during her interview with Karen Davila and her press conference? What's next for the ex-CJ? Sainthood? What a splendid day it turned out to be. Mabuhay ang PILIPINAS!

Ang Twisted Sisters na-Infinity War? Har har har!!!

Slowly but surely, sir. Our horizon seems to brighten with this new development. De Lima is jailed. Ex-Chairman Bautista of Comelec is on the run. Ombudsman Morales will retire soon. And now the current Chief Justice Lourdes Sereno was given the boot by the Supreme Court. Good riddance, all! Is Leni next? We can only hope.

Before the Supreme Court decision was handed down on the quo warranto case filed against Sereno I was 95% sure months ago the final verdict wouldn't favor Sereno. I call it karma or probably justice from heaven.

Chief Justice Corona, naipaghiganti ka na. May you rest in peace. Si Sereno, buhay pa naman. Pero baka gawin siyang saint ng mga dilaw. Ayun, balita sa teevee she was spotted in an anti-DU30 rally on the day of the president's SONA. Right on cue!

So much for your so-called 'werpa', LeKnee. What you have shown so far is your hypocrisy. What now?

When you play with fire, you get burned.

The yellow crybabies will surely delete the words 'supreme' and 'may' in their vocabulary or dictionary from this moment on. Oh well!

Thank you, judge Tijam!

Pepito Manaloto?

Hilbay probably has foot-in-mouth disease.

Sour graping is so common among the yellows so we shouldn't be surprised.

Ina, you don't say! The Yellows gonna hate you for posting this!

Harry, fresh from the royal wedding! he he he ....

Hindi nila priority ang mga Dengvaxia victims. Victim Sereno is more important to them. BRAVO!

Whatever happened to the much talked about "judicial independence" if these senatongs allow themselves to interfere in the Supreme Court's business? Leave those justices alone.

...And to think sabi nila para sa mga mahihirap si Sereno. WEH! You could have fooled me.

There's always a first time, baby.

Sa mga bitter na dilaw, kung natalo ang manok nyo, gawin ninyong tinola o adobo. TSALAP yan!
